Southwestern Wonton

Ingredients
Wonton wrappers
½ cup red pepper, chopped
¼ cup black beans
¼ cup onion, chopped
Cilantro, for garnish
½ tsp chili powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
Pinch of cumin
Olive oil spray
Mexican cheese blend
1 clove garlic , minced
¼ cup corn
Directions:
Step 1:Prepare the filling:
In a large skillet, combine chopped onion, black beans, corn, minced garlic, and red pepper. Cook until softened and fragrant.
Step 2:Season the mixture:
Add ½ tsp chili powder, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper, and a pinch of cumin. Stir well to combine.
Step 3: Assemble the wontons:
Place a spoonful of filling onto each wonton wrapper. Sprinkle with Mexican cheese, fold into triangles, and seal the edges.
Step 4: Bake the wontons:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange assembled wontons on a baking sheet, lightly spray with olive oil, and bake for 15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Step 5:Serve and enjoy:
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve. Perfect for sharing or indulging on your own!
