Cinnamon Apple Crisps
Ingredients
4 McIntosh apples,
2 tsp of ground cinnamon
1 tsp Monk Fruit Sweetener
Directions:
Step 1:Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare your baking sheet by spraying it with cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper.
Step 2: Prepare the Apples
Core and slice 4 McIntosh apples to a thickness of ⅛ to ¼ inch. Transfer the sliced apples to a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Season the Apples
Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar (if desired) over the sliced apples. Toss the apples to coat them evenly with the cinnamon and/or sugar.
Step 4: Arrange the Apples
Spread the apple slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure that the apple slices are not overlapping; you may need to use two baking sheets to accommodate all of the slices.
Step 5: Bake the Apple Chips
Bake the apple slices for 2-3 hours, or until the chips are dry but still a bit soft.
Step 6: Cool and Store
Allow the apple chips to cool completely before transferring them to an airtight container. These apple chips can be stored for up to 4 days, though they might be so delicious that they won't last that long!
