Bariatric White Bean Puree

Ingredients
1/2 Teaspoon Thyme, dried
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic powder
3 Garlic cloves
1 Cup Chicken broth, low- sodium
Salt and black pepper
3 Teaspoon Butter, unsalted

Directions:
Step 1:
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Add the garlic and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently for about 3-5 minutes.

Step 2:
Next we’re adding cannellini beans followed by a cup of chicken broth Add a pinch of garlic powder followed by some time- there’s never not a good time for time- speaking of time- let this simmer for about 12 minutes-

Step 3:
Next I’m blending this up into a nice puree because well we’re during puree- hooray puree!


Step 4:
Season with salt and pepper, top with optional Parmesan and parsley, and serve warm.
